Enjoy complimentary appetizers and beverages while basking in the fine art of this popular regional artist and listening to outstanding local musicians.
Friday, September 9 features accomplished singer/songwriter, guitarist and percussionist, Edis. A long-time music show host on KGLT, this versatile songbird will delight with soaring sweetness and bluesy belts. After almost twenty years of playing with Textbook Blues, she now regularly rocks out with Edis and the Incredibles, as well as in duo acts around the Bozeman area. Hear her solo in an intimate, historic venue endowed with natural acoustic excellence.
The series continues Saturday, September 24th with the ever-popular Claudia Williams, better known as Montana Rose. Singing in Big Sky Country since she got her first guitar at 12, she tells the stories of life and love in the west in a style that has come to embody the spirit of Americana. Her sound is reminiscent of Patsy Cline, Joni Mitchell, Ella Fitzgerald and Emmy Lou Harris, all early influences. She interprets standards like “Walking after Midnight,” “Sweet Dreams” and “I Fall to Pieces” with an erotic tenderness that’s a blend of folk, country and blues—it’s American roots music at its best. Working and recording in Nashville for the last 25 years, Claudia has eight recordings available worldwide, and songs playing on the radio in over 30 countries. Don’t miss this opportunity to share an intimate, inspiring and memorable evening with a true Montana icon!
