Though music lovers are currently unable to experience a show at Bridger Brewing’s outdoor amphitheater, their Bozeman and Three Forks locations continue to host musician nights this winter. Here’s a look at who’s performing in the coming weeks.
Bozeman Shows
Dustin Tucker is first up this month with an in-house performance on February 5th. A member of Pinky & the Floyd, his solo outings feature a smooth groove, silky vocals and passionate yet desperate lyrics of love.
Soulful Americana bluegrass band Jody & the Woodflowers follow on Feb. 12th. Blending heartfelt vocals with rich instrumentation to create a timeless sound, their repertoire spans sweet, haunting ballads, early American country harmonies, love songs, as well as lively fiddle tunes and instrumentals. They draw influence from folk traditions and modern Americana greats like Alison Krauss and Gillian Welch.
Check out a solo show with Zach Landin on Feb. 19th. The local singer/songwriter performs regularly around town, showing off his strumming skills and melodic lyricism.
Enjoy a night of music courtesy of Bridger Creek Boys on Feb. 26th. The Boys are an acoustic bluegrass quartet steeped in old-time tradition, while also pushing the genre with newgrass. The band blends originals with covers of traditional bluegrass and more contemporary artists.
Three Forks Shows
Marcedes Carroll takes the stage February 6th. She brings a variety of flavor to her live shows, performing tunes ranging from Turnpike Troubadours to Ella Fitzgerald to Led Zeppelin, along with plenty of originals. She released new album, We Lost Track of the Stars, last year.
Take in a one-man show courtesy of August Ore on Feb. 13th. The local musician knows his way around a guitar and serenades audiences with a blend of notable tunes.
On Feb. 20th, enjoy the stylings of Jakob Alexander. Paying homage to both the folk and singer/songwriter genres, with his beautifully captivating voice and acoustic guitar, he performs honest covers and his own thought-provoking and heartfelt originals.
Bozeman music begins at 5:30pm, and 6pm in Three Forks.
