Toni Morrison lecture screening and documentary showing: Wednesday, Feb. 18, Strand Union Building 185. Morrison, a Nobel Prize–winning author whose work reshaped American literature, is widely recognized for her powerful explorations of memory, identity and the Black experience. In recognition of Morrison’s birthday, the Student Commons will screen her 1993 Nobel lecture at 10 a.m. and the documentary “Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am” at noon. The event will include optional writing prompts and book giveaways.
