The 9th annual Bozeman Winter Farmers’ Market has returned to the Emerson Center to make sure you have what you need to make it through our longest season! The next market falls on Saturday, October 8th from 9am–12pm. The market will follow two Saturdays per month, with events on October 22nd, November 5th and 19th, December 17th, January 7th and 21st, February 4th and 18th, March 4th and 18th, and April 1st, 15th, and 29th—all from 9am–12pm.
You’ll find a lot more than traditional winter staples like potatoes and onions and the market. Area farmers’ are now able to provide fresh greens grown in hoop houses, herbs, cabbage, carrots, beets, radishes, and garlic throughout the fall, winter and spring. Now entering its’ ninth season, the Bozeman Winter Farmers’ Market has grown from the demand for a direct producer-to-consumer experience beyond the traditional summer market season. Why the apostrophe in the name? Because this market was created by farmers, and continues to be operated by farmers, for farmers. The focus is on food and agricultural products. In addition to vegetables, during the months of September through April, you can find grassfed meats, cheeses, farm fresh eggs, fermented vegetables and kombucha, honey, artisan breads and baked goods, syrups, jams and preserves, grains and oils, wool, locally grown and blended teas, ethically sourced coffee, locally-pressed juices, local sourced hot breakfast, music and much more, all under one roof at the Emerson Center in downtown Bozeman.
