Worthington Arena (Track & Field)
Worthington Arena serves as the Montana State track and field team’s home during the winter months.
The Bobcats use the arena as a practice facility and as a host to home meets during the indoor season. In 2014, the banked wooden track was replaced with a state of the art Mondo Super X surface that features a five lane oval and six straights.
Montana State is one of only a couple of schools within the conference that has a home site that is equipped to host collegiate meets. The meet set up in Worthington Arena includes seating along the top portion of Brick Breeden Fieldhouse for spectators, with jumping pits and throwing areas located within the competition oval. MSU utilizes the videoboard hanging above the track for replays, live results and promotional sponsorships throughout a meet.
MSU hosted the 2016 and 2019 Big Sky Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships and is slated to host the 2022 conference meet.
