Come as you are, and leave knowing more about yourself. The inaugural Gathering of Mystics comes to the Gallatin River Hideaway on Bozeman’s edge Friday through Sunday, September 11th–13th.
Enjoy three days of inner-work within a like-minded community, surrounded by others on harmonious paths in a place wild enough to hold whatever comes up. The event will include speakers, workshops, ritual and a full sensory marketplace, led by facilitators and mystics from across Montana. Curated by Event Guardians Lacee Gengenbacher, Ginny Watts, Tamara Leach and Angela Devani.
Presentations include:
– Triggers are Portals to the Gold with Lacee Gengenbacher (Mountain Witch): A psychotherapist and somatic teacher on turning trauma into medicine, and using triggers as openings back to the parts of you survival once asked you to abandon.
– The Witch Wound with Angela Devani (Elemental Magick): On the ancient fear of being seen, and reclaiming the voice, intuition and gifts that fear has kept exiled.
– The Body Is the Oracle with Tamara Leach (Conscious Connected Healing): Three decades of somatic and energy work, plus her own journey through a spinal cord tumor diagnosis, on treating the body as a living guide rather than a broken machine.
During the event’s Embodied workshops, participants can expect movement, not lectures. Across the weekend, facilitators will guide breathwork, ritual, voice, and inner-wisdom practices woven through the property’s many portals – each one designed to alchemize energy into new awareness, not just talk about it. Highlights include somatic breathwork for nervous-system release, an outdoor elemental dance experience, and a ritual offering in a sacred tree circle – plus tarot, sacred rattle-making (very limited seats), vocal alchemy and more.
The event will also feature The Gathering Marketplace with mini sessions, Reiki-infused products, crystals, smudges and creative work from local artisans around the Golden Pond. Also find live music, poetry and art for the senses as part of the Gazebo Portals.
The weekend begins on Friday evening with the Mystics Gala from 5–10pm including opening circle, a Persephoné reading, music and dancing. Two full days follow on Saturday from 9am–7:30pm and Sunday from 9am–4pm with an opening ritual, speakers, food trucks, workshops and closing ceremony.
