Tsunami Funk up Hot Springs stage ahead of local folksters Henry & Isla
An evening of soaking and sonic delights awaits at Bozeman Hot Springs. The favorite venue among residents and visitors alike is home to weekly live music from the pool-adjacent stage on regular Thursday and Sunday nights beginning at 7pm. Here’s a look at who’s set to perform.
Catch Tsunami Funk up the Hot Springs stage on Sunday, June 9th. The Bozeman-favorite group brings a party to every performance with Funk/R&B-rocking grooves. The fellas play tunes from artists like Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers, James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, Sly & the Family Stone, Kool & the Gang, Van Morrison, Steely Dan, Bob Marley, and many more! Tsunami Funk is Eddie Tsuru (bass), Luke Flansburg (vocals, guitar), Nate Anderson (guitar), David Charles (keys), and Isaiah Morales (drums).
Local folk duo of Henry & Isla follow with a show on Thursday, June 13th. Mixing their shows up with sweet folk harmonies paired with absurd banter between songs, the pair specializes in delighting and confusing any audience listening to them (but in the best way possible). Using a wide variety of instruments such as guitars, harps, egg shakers, and mandolins, Henry & Isla do much more than just play music, and they’re showing it off at the Hot Springs.
Bozeman super-group Kelly Nicholson Band is set for Sunday, June 16th. With a unique rock-soul sound drawing from lead singer Kelly Nicholson’s southern roots, this five-piece expertly blends multiple genres for an energetic show unlike any other. Joined on stage by local musicians Joe Kirchner, Brett Goodell, Luke Flansburg and Joe Knapp, the full band brings together some of the area’s finest musicians for a can’t-miss performance.
