“The Life and Music Of Django Reinhardt” brings back the Library’s Exploring the Arts program on Monday, January 25th at 7pm in the Community Room. Django Reinhardt was a Gypsy guitarist who was Europe’s most famous jazz musician during the 1930s, inventing a style of music that came to be called ‘gypsy jazz.’ The program will feature performances of Django Reinhardt’s compositions along with the fascinating history behind them, presented by Montana Manouche, a Bozeman gypsy jazz quartet. This program is sponsored by the Foundation and is free and open to the public.
