Fervent country artist Sunny Sweeney, Wind and the Willows take Filler stage
ChickenJam West and Mellow Mood present country musician Sunny Sweeney on Friday, February 7th. Special guest Jason Wickens opens the 21+ show at 8pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Doors at 7pm.
From the Grand Ole Opry to the Billboard Country charts, from Nashville to Texas to Montana, Sweeney will burn the joint down with her fiery brand of honest-to-God country music. The performance will feature songs from her latest release, Trophy, like “Pass the Pain,” “Pills” and the heartbreaking “Bottle by My Bed.” The album also includes a masterful reading of the Chris Wall classic “I Feel Like Hank Williams Tonight.” With her hard-earned savvy and acerbic wit, Sweeney always surprises.
Pacific People and Cous warm up the crowd for Wind and the Willows on Saturday, February 8th. The music begins at 9pm. Tickets to this 21+ show are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Doors at 8pm.
Imports from Colorado, lead singers Ryen Dalvit and Maren Stubenvoll perform their distinct sound that blends brass, strings and triple harmonies. The band’s roots lie in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. From writing tunes in caves and atop mountains, to performing in taprooms and other intimate venues, these once upon a time classmates became a songwriting duo finding inspiration in their beautiful surroundings and budding sisterhood. Their debut album, Bloom and Fade, released last year.
Looking ahead, Denver’s A-Mac & The Height are set for Thursday, February 20th. Local rock quartet SpekAtlas open at 9pm. Tickets to this 21+ show are $9 in advance and $12 at the door. Doors at 8pm.
A-Mac represents a unique musical experience of unity and adventurous fusion of genres. With hook-driven songwriting and a cohesive blend of reggae, hip-hop, funk and alternative rock, the group thrives on overcoming musical boundaries. Their immersive message and feel good energy has proven to bring together beautiful people from coast to coast. Recent singles “Hammer Drop,” “Where I’m At” and “Finally Woke” are available now.
