Hopa Mountain and Empower Montana will offer a workshop on Strengthening Cross-Cultural Competencies on Friday, November 11 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in Bozeman at the C’Mon Inn. This workshop, taught by Empower Montana Executive Director, Heidi Wallace and Senior Trainer, Katie Koga, along with Hopa Mountain’s Executive Director, Bonnie Sachatello-Sawyer, will offer a series of experiential activities to help participants to become leaders in ending individual and institutional oppression by deepening self-awareness, increasing understanding of inequality, and developing intervention and ally skills. The cost of the workshop is $75, which includes lunch.

Participants will learn how to create and support teams that can work effectively across group lines along with skills for working effectively with diverse participant groups and creating inclusive environments. Participants will deepen skills to promote an inclusive community, work and service environment for all.
