The Sidecar is a World War I era cocktail. The original recipe was reportedly invented for an American army captain who was feeling under the weather, so his bartender invented a drink with body-warming whisky and vitamin C-rich lemon juice. He was known for riding around town in the sidecar of a motorcycle, hence the name. For the drink: 2 oz Willie’s Canadian Whisky 1 oz Triple Sec 1 oz fresh lemon juice Shake all ingredients then pour into a sugar rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a large piece of lemon zest.
