Slice into Bozeman’s music scene at local pizzeria
The stage at Red Tractor Pizza has been activated once again! New midweek showcase Wax Wednesdays join the return of Music Mondays, and your favorite seasoned locals are back with regular performances.
Weston Lewis provides the entertainment on Aug. 9th. His solo sets are comprised mostly of acoustic rock covers and some of his original songs. In band settings, he likes to break out the funk, jazz, country and more.

Settle in with PermaFunk on Aug. 14th. Expect plenty of funky, soulful, psychedelic and Latin-infused grooves. The band is inspired by the creativity and passion of the 1970s.
Aug. 15th sees the monthly return of The Dirt Farmers at 6pm. They’re a foot-stomping string band whose “paisley grass” features a fun-loving mix of old school country, bluegrass, blues and rock – with the occasional slip into hip-hop.
Local musician and multi-medium artist Greg “Swizzle” Swain performs on Aug. 16th at 6:30pm. A regular fixture at the Haufbrau and other venues around town, Swain’s passion for the arts is contagious. Don’t miss his set!
Catch a midweek show by Vibe Quartet on Aug. 18th. The improv four-piece fuses a variety of instrumental music ranging from jazz standards to original funk numbers and instrumental popular tunes.
Red Tractor welcomes the talents of Kailey Marie on Aug. 22nd. Head down for a pie and a few brews, kick back and enjoy her acoustics.
Madeline Kelly of Hawthorne Roots performs solo on Aug. 23rd. Defined by their tightly woven harmonies and relentlessly catchy melodies, their “Revved-Up Soul Music” has been a distinct addition to Montana’s scene.
Neil Filo Beddow performs cuts from his new album Under the Umbrella on Aug. 30th. He plays original folk rock for the soul, and describes his guitar style as the “West Dakota stutter.”
And adding to the Red Tractor residencies is Wax Wednesdays every other week. DJ Crisco spins records of all genres beginning at 6pm. Upcoming dates are Aug. 11th and 25th. Bridger Creek Boys, Jess Atkins and new trio Moonlight Moonlight alternate the Thursday night slot, and Jazz Night takes over the pizzeria every Friday. Take in an evening of old-time and contemporary bluegrass, or ease into the weekend with the music styles of jazz, funk, latin and more. Atkins is set for Aug. 12th, the Boys on Aug. 19th, and Moonlight stepping in Aug. 26th.
