COMMUNITY SHELTER CELEBRATES THE HOLIDAYS WITH SPECIAL EVENTS
BOZEMAN, MT.
Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter today announced Santa Paws, a portrait session to be held at the shelter on December 5th and 6th. The event, featuring individual professional-quality photographs, is a seasonal favorite.
“Celebrate the holidays by bringing your pet to Heart of the Valley for a photo session with Santa,” said Emily Burkhardt, Volunteer and Education Manager. “You’ll have a keepsake for your family and you’ll help the lost and abandoned animals of the community. We invite the entire community to this year’s fun event!”
Santa Paws will be held at 1549 East Cameron Bridge Road from 12-3 pm Saturday and Sunday. Participants are asked to make a $10 donation to the shelter. In return for this donation, participants will receive a digital image of their pet posed with Santa.
Participants may bring family pets, including cats and dogs. Dogs must be on leashes during Santa Paws and other animals should arrive in safe carriers or crates. Participants can choose to be included in the portrait or simply pose their pets with Santa. No appointments are necessary for the portrait sessions, and parking is readily available at the shelter. The event is held indoors in the community room and will feature an attractive backdrop, great lighting and skilled photographers. The images will be ready for holiday cards or social media posts.
“If you haven’t made a trip to your community animal shelter, bring the whole family to Santa Paws,” said Burkhardt. “We can do good, and have a good time on December 5th and 6th at Heart of the Valley.”
Heart of the Valley is also hosting a Home for the Holidays promotion until December 31st. Heart of the Valley in Bozeman has 218 cats in their care who need loving forever homes. We have adoptions specials where adoption prices will be reduced or waived on cats now through December 31st to help them find homes for the holidays. Adoption counselors are able to introduce you to all of the cats any day of the week from 11:30am-5:00pm. You can meet them at 1549 East Cameron Bridge Road or call (406) 388-9399 to hear more about them and our “Home for the Holidays” promotion.
