Pine Creek Lodge is filling their winter calendar with a number of shows for those looking to visit their favorite venue as winter trudges along. Events have moved indoors but the music will be as enjoyable as ever.
First up, The Sleepless Elite will deliver back-to-back shows on February 2nd and 3rd. The duo-turned-foursome has inspiration rooted in musical theater, and the sound of artists like Paramore and Blondie, Blink-182 and the Strokes. Their unique sound can be heard on their latest release, Still Dreaming.
On Feb. 9th and 10th, the Lodge presents another in its “Women of Paradise” series – two nights celebrating the talented singer/songwriters of their namesake Valley. Friday will feature the stylings of Hannah Jo Lally, Quenby and Blake Brightman. Saturday will include sets by Shelly Besler, Marcedes Carroll and Abby Webster. See venue website for additional details.
Paradise Valley favorites The Fossils return with a pair of performances Feb. 16th and 17th. Known around town for their authentic hippie music, the band guarantees a rockin’ good time. The members have been acquainted for years and are connected by their love of music.
Dead Sky take the stage for their own pair of performances, Feb. 23rd and 24th. The local Grateful Dead tribute features members of Pinky & the Floyd, MOTH, Kelly Nicholson Band, Hooligans, Dead Yellers, SlomoJoe and more.
And on March 1st and 2nd, North Fork Crossing perform. Their genre resides somewhere in a strange untapped musical realm between traditional bluegrass, psychedelic rock, Americana and folk. The quintet are drawn to bluegrass reaching a younger generation, priding themselves on their unique sound being the “evolution of string band music.”
Advance tickets for these shows are available now, but space is limited. All music begins at 7pm. Please visit www.pinecreeklodgemontana.com to learn more about these and other upcoming off-season shows. •
