Mountains Walking hosts next physics-based ‘Astronomy on Tap’
Bozeman’s next Astronomy on Tap event heads to Mountains Walking Brewery on Monday, February 26th with “Extreme Physics” on topic from 6–8pm. Enjoy a beer while learning about astronomy and testing your astro-trivia knowledge. Dr. Amy Reines will present on how the largest black holes in the universe form, and Dr. Anthony van Eysden will explain just how crazy neutron stars are. Head down, order up a brew, and find a seat!
This all ages event is open to the public. Mountains Walking Brewery is located at 422 Plum Ave., featuring a truly excellent view of the Bridger Range.
Each FREE Astronomy on Tap event features accessible, engaging science presentations on topics ranging from planets to black holes to galaxies to the beginning of the Universe. Presenters are from local research and educational institutions. Astronomy on Tap was created in New York City by Meg Schwamb, currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Astronomy & Astrophysics, Academia Sinica (Taiwan).
