From German currywurst to Chinese mo po tofu to Ghanian jollof rice, there will be something for everyone at Montana State University’s annual International Food Bazaar on Wednesday, February 12th.
Culinary staples from over 30 countries will be represented at the bazaar. MSU Culinary Services will prepare food for the event, which is put on with the support of the MSU Office of International Programs to celebrate the university’s diverse student body.
“The International Food Bazaar provides an opportunity for our students to showcase the culinary elements of their home countries, and has grown in popularity since its inception,” said Brennan Reeves, director of international student and scholar services in the Office of International Programs. “Each year, we have a different set of nations that are represented for people to learn about and appreciate.”
Miller Dining Commons will feature cuisine from Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam and the Arabian Peninsula.
Rendezvous Dining Pavilion will feature dishes from China, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Ghana, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Nepal, New Zealand, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda and the Arabian Peninsula. •
