Continuing this month, the Downtown Bozeman Association is proud to present the 20th Annual Music on Main Summer Concert Series from the heart of Downtown Bozeman. The local favorite won’t look like it has in past summers, but event organizers have put their creative heads together in an effort to keep the tradition alive.
This summer, the events will be streamed LIVE from the Rialto Theater. The weekly performances will be available to view through the DBA Facebook page every Thursday night, July 2nd through July 30th, from 7–8:30pm.
Music on Main fans are encouraged to watch from their favorite Downtown Bozeman restaurant and bar locations, at home, around the campfire, or anywhere there’s room to dance at a safe distance.
Featured next in the virtual series is Missoula-based Shakewell on July 9th. A funk brotherhood of lifelong friends and collaborators, Shakewell thumps out funk, neo-soul, and rock n’ roll. The six-piece will toss you around with original songs and imaginative mashups, cranking the Richter scale up to 11. Keep eyes on the seismograph and ears to the ground, ‘cause Shakewell is comin’ to throw down. Their latest, Marzoula, is available to stream HERE.
Please note: although streaming live from the Rialto, the July concerts are private events adhering to health guidelines and are not open to the public.
The originally scheduled Music on Main events in August have been canceled. Log on to www.downtownbozeman.org for further information.
