Prospera’s Montana Women’s Business Center and Downtown Bozeman Association present Downtown Women-Owned Business Tour featuring Saffron Table and Feed Café, Wednesday, October 5th from 12–1pm. Join in for a walking business tour of these two women-owned businesses. Each business owner will share her experience with starting, operating, and growing her business. There will also be time for networking and shopping! Sponsored by American Bank, this event is free of charge but you must register by October 4th. This walking business tour is a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow business members in the community and gain insight into some of the common issues that business owners face.
Montana Women’s Business Center will present another edition of its Leadership Mentoring Series with featured woman entrepreneur Libby Burr, Owner, Bridger Animal Nutrition, on Tuesday, October 25th from 2:30–5pm with a networking social to follow. The main event will take place at the Baxter Hotel mezzanine ballroom, 105 W Main Street, with the social unfolding at Taco del Sol, 35 W Main Street, in Bozeman. Registration is $20 and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres at The Baxter.
The Leadership Mentoring Series presents successful women entrepreneurs’ stories of success and challenges. No speeches, no PowerPoints, no handouts. Just genuine, raw stories. Sessions are moderated by Ris Higgins, owner of Leadership Outfitters and long-time mentor to women entrepreneurs. Join in as they share their advice and encouragement with our community of women entrepreneurs.

The Montana Women’s Business Center (WBC) is a program of Prospera Business Network and is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Established in October 2009, the Montana WBC is one of over 100 business centers across the country. They provide the necessary tools and support to help women establish, grow, and sustain businesses throughout the state of Montana. The Montana WBC is focused on providing confidential business counseling and training services to women entrepreneurs and is a critical resource to those who are economically or socially disadvantaged. The Montana WBC gives women the opportunity to excel in business and contributes to the growth of economies throughout the state. Women are their focus, but they will help anyone who needs it.
Prospera Business Network is a private, non-profit, member-supported economic development organization in southwestern Montana.
