Delivering the first in its 2024 performance series, Montana Chamber Music Society will present the talents of Kinan Azmeh on Friday, January 26th. The concert will be held at Reynolds Recital Hall on the Montana State University campus. Music begins at 7:30pm.
Hailed by critics and audiences alike, the clarinetist and composer has gained international recognition for his distinctive voice across diverse musical genres. Originally from Damascus, Syria, Azmeh brings his music to all corners of the world as a soloist, composer and improviser. His compositions include several works for solo, chamber and orchestral music, as well as music for film, live illustration and electronics. An advocate for new music, several concertos were dedicated to him by composers such as Kareem Roustom, Dia Succari, Dinuk Wijeratne, Zaid Jabri, Saad Haddad and Guss Janssen, in addition to a large number of chamber music works.

Find ticketing information for the Bozeman show through the host website. The latter performance is free and open to the public.
