Delivering the last in its 2024-25 performance series, Montana Chamber Music Society will present Elena Urioste and Tom Poster on Saturday, April 12th. The concert will be held at Reynolds Recital Hall on the Montana State University campus. Music begins at 7:30pm.
Called “classical music’s most multi-talented new power couple” by The London Times, Urioste will perform on violin while Poster showcases his talents on piano. The program will include Mozart’s Violin Sonata in A major, K. 305, Lekeu’s Violin Sonata and Saint-Saëns’ Two Elegies, Ops. 143 and 160. The evening concludes with selections from their #UriPosteJukeBox podcast, an eclectic selection of miniatures including arrangements by Poster and a chance for the audience to vote on what they would most like to hear.
The duo’s regional tour will include “An Intimate Evening of Music & Conversations” on April 10th at Bozeman’s Aspevig Studio and a rural concert on April 11th at the Clark Chateau in Butte. Find additional information and ticketing information through the host website.
