COPY: The Livingston Film Series presents a thrilling Halloween Double Feature and Zombie Costume Contest!
The Livingston Film Series is delighted to present a free Halloween Double Feature and Zombie Costume Contest starting at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 31 at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts.
The first film starts at 6:00 pm. ‘Spring Break Zombie Massacre’ is a recent cult smash created by two amateur filmmakers with Down Syndrome. On a mission to save spring break, two bionic bros must fight and party their way through the zombie apocalypse. And hopefully defeat satan, who killed both of their moms.
A Zombie Costume Contest will follow the first film, with a $50 prize for first place!
A screening of ‘Undead or Alive’ follows at 7pm. Elmer (James Denton), a Civil War deserter, and Luke (Chris Kattan), a heartbroken cowboy, are captured by a corrupt Wild West sheriff and thrown in jail. Elmer and Luke escape and rob the sheriff while he’s in the saloon. As they make their way out of town, the pair meet Sue, the niece of a famous Native American warrior. She tells them that her uncle has cursed the entire region and infected it with a plague that turns people into flesh-hungry zombies.
Now in its third season, the Livingston Film Series presents a wide variety of independent features, documentaries, local films, and special screenings on the second Sunday of every month in the Dulcie Theatre at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts. Admission is always free; donations are gratefully accepted.
The Livingston Film Series is generously sponsored by Marilyn Clotz and Mary Ann Bearden.
