Happy June,
First I want to thank Strike Farms, for hosting last month’s green drinks. Very informative and a beautiful location! This month we are heading to Bozeman Bike Kitchen, a cooperative cycling center dedicated to making the use of bicycles available for all members of the Bozeman community, whether they be for transportation or fun. They are always looking need volunteers of all ages and abilities to help us refurbish bikes and keep the shop running smoothly. Volunteers will be eligible for free bikes and/or parts depending on the number of hours worked. Their Community Bike Program is a partnership with local non-profits that help ensure no one is without transportation. Each year they give away hundreds of bicycles, including free kid’s bikes at Christmas. The event is Wednesday, June 15th at 5:30 in their shop located at 2104 Industrial Drive, next to the Warming Center. In the spirit of Green Drinks, please bring your own cup, and they would also encourage you to ride your bike to the event.
