Annual Job Fair features employment opportunities in Gallatin & Park counties
Job Service Bozeman will host its annual Job Fair Jamboree at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, April 11th from 2–6pm. Each year, up to 75 area employers and business representatives participate to recruit qualified candidates for their open positions, to network with other community members, and to promote their businesses.
Participating businesses represent all industries including manufacturing, professional services and administration, food service, healthcare, agriculture, retail, local and state government agencies, building and trades, as well as distribution. This year will feature employers from Livingston and Park County, joining additional representatives from Bozeman, Belgrade, Big Sky, West Yellowstone, Manhattan, Three Forks, and Ennis.
Employers are reminded to register right away if they would like to reserve a booth. Premium booths have sold out, but standard booths may still be available. Visit www.bozemanjobs.mt.gov and navigate to the ‘Events’ section for further registration and other information.
More people are searching for work and considering changing jobs this year than in the past three. A huge turnout is anticipated. Some area statistics… Gallatin County has a total labor force of 63,984 with a 3.2% unemployment rate (2,029 without jobs), while Park County’s totals amount to 8,390 and 5.5% unemployment (458 individuals). Prospective employees interested in meeting and interviewing with employers and businesses are encouraged to bring a resume to the event or be prepared to complete paper applications.
