BOZEMAN FILM PREMIER OF MICHAEL MOORE’S WHERE TO INVADE NEXT! On Thursday, April 21, 6:00 PM at Bozeman Public Library
Please join us for the Bozeman Film Premier of Michael Moore’s latest documentary, Where to Invade Next! on Thursday, April 21, in the Bozeman Public Library’s Large Community Room. Doors open at 6PM and the film will be screened at 6:30 PM. Where to Invade Next! features the story of Moore’s travels to other nations, in a satirical take-off of US foreign policy, but with a twist: he seeks to find examples of the kind of policies and practices that affirm human dignity and rights and insure a great quality of life.
Following the film screening, brief presentations about how and why Bernie Sanders’ Presidential candidacy matters to indigenous rights and sovereignty, the environment and public lands, student debt, women’s human rights and reproductive justice, labor organizing and workers’ rights. Meg Singer (Dine’) and MSU graduate student; Hilary Parker; Kathleen Byrne, AFMSU; Bruce Walker, MSU graduate Instructor; Cara Wilder, actor and cultural worker; Jan Strout, Bozeman Women 4 Bernie and women’s rights activist, and Andy Boyd, Bozeman for Bernie, will speak. Information, voter registration and resources on how to get involved with Bernie’s campaign and Montana’s June 7th Primary will also be available.
This special film premier of Where to Invade Next! event is free and the public is welcome. We encourage people to attend who are undecided about Bernie Sanders as well as those who want to get involved.
