8th Annual Spring for Food – Food Drive
Goal to Collect 15,000 lbs. of Food to Benefit the Gallatin Valley Food Bank and Childhood Nutrition Programs
On Saturday, April 6th, a partnership between KBZK, Cardinal Distributing, and First Security Bank, will launch the 8th annual Spring for Food – Food Drive in coordination with Childhood Hunger Awareness week to support HRDC’s Gallatin Valley Food Bank and Childhood Nutrition Programs.
Last year HRDC’s Gallatin Valley Food Bank distributed 2,002,170 pounds of food, serving an average of 3,000 individuals every month through the Emergency Food Box Program at the Bozeman location and the satellite service in Belgrade. In 2018, the Spring for Food – Food Drive collected 14,062 pounds of food to support the Gallatin Valley Food Bank.
From 10am to 4pm on Saturday, April 6th, food donations can be dropped off at ten participating grocery stores* in Bozeman and Belgrade. The Spring for Food – Food Drive will also have food donation bins located at schools in Belgrade and Bozeman during Childhood Hunger Awareness week from Wednesday, April 3rd to Wednesday, April 10th. Wear Orange Wednesday occurs on the last day of the drive, Wednesday, April 10th.

– Smith’s Food & Drug
– Heebs Fresh Market
– Walmart
