Hidden treasures abound at art & antique sale – consignments sought
Presented by the Park Branch of the American Association of University Women, the New to You Art & Antique Sale is coming to Downtown Livingston this month. The two-day event will be held March 13th and 14th at the historic Livingston Depot Center, located at 200 West Park Street.
A Friday night gala will introduce the weekend events with an art sale and silent auction from 5–8pm. The evening will feature the pairing of wine and cheese, coffee and dessert, as well as musical arrangements by David Eaton.
The main event will be held from 10am–2pm on Saturday. Shoppers will discover an assortment of paintings, sculptures, pottery, frames, art books, wall hangings, vases, jewelry antique furniture, vintage clothing and so much more. Refreshments will be served.
Admission for both days is $7. Those who plan to attend only the Saturday showcase are admitted for $2. Proceeds from the event support AAUW’s scholarship for local women in higher education, Park High’s annual Academic Awards Night and local candidate forums.
Interested in donating or consigning? Event hosts will accept consignments and donations on March 12th and 13th. Hours are 11am–6pm on Thursday or 10am–1pm on Friday, the first night of the sale. Consignment items must be previously owned and valued at $25 or more. If you’re a consigner with multiple pieces, please call Desiree at (406) 223-4381 to set up an appointment.
