Everyone’s anxious to see Young take the stage after his 2016 CMA nomination for Musical Event of the Year! He will be joined by two co-headliners, CMA Song of the Year nominated artist Randy Houser and Nashville-based Frankie Ballard. Attendees will hear Houser’s numerous No. 1 hits such as “Like a Cowboy” and “We Went” on the Country Jam stage, as well as Ballard’s rock-infused country hits and his notorious Elvis Presley covers. See you in June! Headwaters Country Jam was created to bring live country music in a festival atmosphere to Montana and the northwest. The festival was conceived in late 2007, and the first Jam was held in June 2008. The festival is held at the venue known as The Bridge, near Three Forks. The Bridge is comprised of 159 acres and is the final resting ground for the historic Sappington Bridge that once spanned the Jefferson River. Sixty acres are used for the state-certified campground, which holds 1,200 sites, approximately 20’ x 40’ each. Within the venue is a 12-acre arena where all the magic happens.
Live music from national and local acts plays all day and into the night. Besides the live music, festival-goers can enjoy horse shoe tournaments, dance contests, mechanical bull riding, as well as food and merchandise vendors. The three-day festival has brought in high caliber stars including Eric Church, Montgomery Gentry, The Charlie Daniels Band, Eli Young Band, Dustin Lynch, Tracy Lawrence, Sammy Kershaw, The Bellamy Brothers, Pat Green, Blackhawk, Lonestar, Colin Raye, Emerson Drive, John Anderson, Joe Diffie, Mark Chesnutt, Mark Wills, Deana Carter, Little Texas, and many more. •
