Happy hour tuneage, pizza rounds & Bridger brews continue this month
Bozeman’s locally crowned “Best Brewery” is forging ahead with its new Three Forks location, but Bridger Brewing manages to keep us fed and entertained as the work continues. Live music takes place midweek and patrons can support local nonprofits by sipping a pint on Mondays. Here’s a look some upcoming happenings.
Enjoy live Music & Mussels in the tasting room every Wednesday from 5:30–8pm.
Jess Atkins is first up on November 3rd. His finger and flatpicking styles bring to mind players like Leo Kottke, John Fahey, Keller Williams and Dave Matthews. Along with his self-penned compositions, he easily blends timeless classics with other blues and country tunes.
Bridger Creek Boys follow Nov. 10th. The Boys are an acoustic bluegrass quartet steeped in old-time tradition, while also pushing the genre with newgrass. The band blends originals with covers of traditional bluegrass and more contemporary artists.
Walcrik are set for Nov. 17th. Comprised of Andrew Morehouse and Tim Baucom, this Bozeman-based folk/bluegrass duo plays original, traditional and cover music.
Bridger Brewing kicks off the week with {Pints with Purpose} from 5–8pm: $1 of every pint sold is donated to a featured local nonprofit. Enjoy a house-brewed pint and support these orgs in the process!
Have a brew and help raise dollars for Bozeman Municipal Band on Nov. 1st. The community brass and wind ensemble performs regularly around town, bringing its repertoire of marches, medleys and silver screen classics.
Bridger will host Gallatin Valley Land Trust on Nov. 8th. GVLT connects people, communities, and open lands through conservation of working farms and ranches, healthy rivers, and wildlife habitat, as well as the creation of trails in the Montana headwaters of the Missouri and Upper Yellowstone Rivers.
Proceeds from Nov. 15th will benefit Friends of Hyalite. The grassroots organization draws on a broad base of community engagement to promote volunteerism and support to conserve year-round recreational opportunities in Hyalite Canyon.
Bobcat proud, Bridger Brewing provides the Bozeman community with unique hand-crafted brews, fresh artisan-style pizzas and more. Check them out at www.bridgerbrewing.com. •
