Treasure State folk are always looking for a friendly venue to blow off some steam, and Downtown Bozeman’s Eagles Bar offers the perfect cocktail of drinks and live music to satisfy. The local watering hole remains home to a steady schedule of Wednesday acoustics and weekend jamming.
Poison Lovers guitarist and vocalist Robert Lethert delivers a solo show on February 5th. Expect a blend of old school country and contemporary Americana. His strong gravely voice will perfectly complement your evening at the downtown tavern.
The Love Darts follow Feb. 7th and 8th. The hard rock punk band got its start playing venues like the Haufbrau, having since grown into a fine-tuned project featuring some of Bozeman’s most energetic guitarists. Take a listen to their self-professed “sloppy rock n’ roll” on their EP, Girly.
Also on Feb. 8th, the annual Valentine’s Day Fetish Ball returns to the Eagles Ballroom. Embrace your wild side, dance to great music, mingle and enjoy the fetish performances at 7:30pm. Dress to impress in your most daring and provocative attire for this 21+ event. The electrifying evening will feature musical entertainment by Poppa Chachi and Stay Gold Records. Advance tickets are $35 and available online via Eventbrite or in person at Erotique, with no tickets available at the door.
Mario Miner Jr. of two-piece rock n’ roll project Gallatin Ghost Train performs on Feb. 12th. Expect an evening of blues-skewing tunes and some original songs.
Next up is Butte’s Basketball Jones on Feb. 14th and 15th. The power trio is comprised of Pete Heidt on guitar, bassist Scott Murphy and drummer Jock Holmes. Each band member contributes vocals for an eclectic evening of harmonies and crowd interaction.
Take in the acoustic stylings of local favorite Mathias on Feb. 19th. With powerful vocals and a percussive guitar style, he’s known for his dynamic live performances full of acoustic folk, rock, and funk tunes.
Visiting from Billings, the High Country Outlaws take the stage Feb. 21st and 22nd. Fused with members of two Magic City groups, the band will front a boot scootin’ set of electrifying jams and audience favorites.
Luke Flansburg fronts a solo show on Feb. 26th. He’ll bring a wide variety of music ranging from funk to rock to blues. Also a member of Pinky & the Floyd, Tsunami Funk and MOTH, prepare for a fun set of covers and originals that will span the genres.
The Disruptors deliver a pair of shows on Feb. 28th and March 1st. The high energy band does their darndest to get audiences singing along with their wide selection of rock n’ roll tunes from the ‘60s to now.
Laugh it up every Monday with the Eagles’ Comedy Open Mic Night. Whether you’re a spectator or have a few jokes of your own, sets begin at 8pm.
Exercise your pipes with the voted ‘Best’ Karaoke Night in town, sponsored by Bozeman’s Best Entertainment Group, setting up at FOE every Thursday. Sing your heart out and cheer on your friends! Sign-ups start at 9pm.
The Eagles hosts BINGO Night on Saturday evenings, with the game beginning at 6pm. Grab your friends and dobber of choice for a chance to win some extra bucks.
Make sure to check out Bridger Mountain Big Band on Sunday nights. The ensemble performs at 7pm. The 17-piece jazz orchestra celebrates the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie and more, with original arrangements and music of all genres from the 1900s to today.
