The Montana Ballet Company (MBC) is delighted to announce a brand new Great Ballet Classic spring production for 2016. The Company, along with renowned guest artists, will perform excerpts from some of the most beloved classical storybook ballets at the Willson Auditorium on Sunday, April 16th at 4pm and Sunday, April 17th at 2pm. Save the date(s) and join in to experience beautiful selections from Swan Lake, Cinderella, Coppéllia, and Snow White, all with live musical accompaniment. For this brand new production, MBC is excited to welcome guest choreographer Winthrop Corey, Artistic Director of Mobile Ballet and former principal dancer with the Royal Winnipeg and National Ballet of Canada. Mr. Corey’s exquisite Ballroom scene from his original Snow White will captivate audiences, featuring special guest artists Victoria Barker and Raul Peinado. Another highlight on the program is the famous Black Swan pas de deux from Swan Lake, to be danced by world renowned guest artists Vilia Putrius and MIndaugas Bauzys, principals with Festival Ballet Providence. The community will recognize Ms. Putrius and Mr. Bauzys, having beautifully graced the stage in past productions of MBC’s annual Nutcracker. Also on the program are favorite selections from the classic, Coppélia, along with the seasons from Cinderella, and the Dying Swan solo set to Saint Saens beloved score. Esteemed local musicians will provide live music.

MBC will host its 4th Annual Spring Soirée Fundraiser on Saturday, April 16th at the Baxter Ballroom beginning at 6pm. This exclusive event for 120 guests will follow MBC’s Great Ballet Classics performance. Guests will gather to celebrate MBC in its 32nd Annual Season, while enjoying live jazz, fine food with paired wine, and the opportunity to meet all of the Great Ballet Classics guest artists. Don’t miss this magical evening! General Admission Price is $100 per person. Table Sponsorships are also available for $2,000 and include a table for eight at the Soirée event, eight premiere seats at either Great Ballet Classics performance, your name in Spring Soirée program, and verbal recognition at the event.
