The end of tax season never felt so good! On Friday, April 15th, The Ellen Theatre hosts some criminal activity with the Mafia classic motion picture Goodfellas. From Martin Scorsese comes the story of Henry Hill, and his career within the 1950s New York mob scene. Based on the non-fiction novel Wiseguy by Nicholas Pileggi, Goodfellas stars screen-veteran lawbreakers Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, and Ray Liotta. It is regarded as one of the greatest crime films of all time, with prominent critic Roger Ebert deeming it, “Best mob movie ever!”
All seats are just $5 and may be purchased at theellentheatre.com. Wine, beer and other refreshments, which may be brought into the theatre, will be available starting at 6:30 PM, with the film scheduled for 7:30 PM.
