Fresh snow bolsters a flurry of Bridger Bowl events
Snow finally dumped on Bridger Bowl, with skiers and snowboarders flocking to the locals’ hill. Take in some alpine competition to keep ski season interesting. Here’s a look at what’s coming up.
Ride & Seek is first up, bringing on-snow scavengers out on Saturday, March 6th. Hunt for checkpoints around the mountain, fill up your card and present to the events crew by 2:30pm for a chance to win door prizes. Participation benefits the Bridger Bowl Foundation.
The rescheduled Community Dual GS Race #1 will take place Sunday, March 7th. Open to citizen racers of all ages – alpine skis, tele skis, or snowboards. Compete against your friends! Take one run on the blue course and one run on the red course. Best of two timed runs.
A full weekend of competitive action is set for March 13th and 14th with the Slushy Slalom. Best of two timed runs on the banked slalom down the natural gully below Slushman’s Ravine. Snowboarders on Saturday and skiers on Sunday.
The Point & Chute Film Fest returns Saturday, March 20th. The pre-juried video competition features a virtual screening of the top entries. Edit footage shot throughout the season to craft your story! Cash prizes and giveaways.
The Molly Hayes Spring Equinox Dual GS is set for Sunday, March 21st. Open to skiers and snowboarders. One run on the blue course and one on the red. Best of two. Finish out the season a champion!
Annual benefit Carve Out Hunger will take place Saturday, March 27th. Donate 15 cans of food and receive a voucher for a $25 lift ticket valid through the end of the season. You’ll also be entered to win an Adult Season Pass for the 2021-22 season! All donations benefit the Gallatin Valley Food Bank.
