“Go big or go home,” winter enthusiasts! Montana Backcountry Alliance brings the 20th annual Winter Wildlands Alliance Backcountry Film Festival to Bozeman’s Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture on Friday, January 10th. Since its inception, the festival has toured across states, countries – even Antarctica – screening hundreds of inspiring films that celebrate adventure, conservation and the magic of winter. Over the years, the festival has raised millions of dollars to support local projects that strengthen winter communities and protect our wild snowscapes.
All proceeds assist Montana Backcountry Alliance in its mission to preserve quality, traditional, human-powered winter recreation experiences, reduce conflict, improve opportunity and promote safety among backcountry winter users in Montana.
Note: additional local showings of these films as part of the national tour will be held in Livingston on February 11th and Big Sky on Feb. 27th. Visit the WWA website for additional details and ticketing access. •
