Support the Bozeman Symphony by attending Fiddles, Harps and Shamrocks, an intimate fundraiser and dinner, on the evenings of March 16 and 17, 6:30pm, at The Food Studio, 2251 Kagy Boulevard, Bozeman. The event showcases Irish themed talent from our community and musicians of the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Choir. Enjoy a multi-course intimate dining experience with world-class wine pairings.
Fiddles, Harps and Shamrocks will be the symphony’s first Irish themed event. It is designed to celebrate the rich Irish heritage in our community, provides an opportunity to support the Symphony, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, to enjoy an evening of fine dining at the Food Studio and additionally, an enhanced dining experience by including exciting and fun entertainment in between courses.
Chef Daniel Wendell of the Food Studio has prepared a delectable evening of Irish themed cuisine for the event. On the menu: Amuse Bouche – Boxty: cured salmon, dill, crème fraiche; Dinner – Scallops and Pork: pork cheek, scallop, sweet potato, champ onion, herbs; Bread and Cheese; Cod 42 Degrees Celsius: celeriac, apple, black truffle, brown butter sabayon; Lamb and Oats: porridge, loin, mire poix; Dessert – Lemon Posset, Chocolate Potato Cake Petit Fours, Dublin Ice Coffee. The Food Studio provides top-notch private chef and catering services in Bozeman. They also host dinners and special events, such as Fiddles, Harps and Shamrocks, to provide unique culinary experiences for our area. The Food Studio is owned and operated by Daniel and Eva Wendell. Daniel started his career as a young apprentice in a cheese and charcuterie shop in California then worked at a renowned restaurant in Berkeley, CA. He moved to Alaska to be a chef for the Hilton Corporation and then work his way to executive chef at Sack’s Café, a popular and established restaurant in Anchorage. He moved from there to New Mexico and then finally to Montana where he and his wife Eva raise their family. Eva has been in the service side of restaurants and in the customer service industry for some time. She has a refined attention to detail seldom seen. Her ability to see it all is surpassed only by her professional approach to each customer’s specific need.
Musicians and entertainers for the evening include Angela Espinosa, harp, Eric Bartz and Tyler Blomstrom, male vocals and guitar, Sue Makeever, flute, Patricia Gates, flute, Bel Canto, female vocals with Emily Paris-Martin, violin, Tom Robison and Richard Burke, violin and guitar, Allison Todd, piano and members of Independence performing a traditional social dance. Musical selections include lively jigs, waltzes, fast reels, lillty jigs, traditional folk tunes, and more.
