Ready your taste buds for the annual Montana Fresh Hop Fest, returning to the Gallatin County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 19th from 4–8pm. The event will feature pours from 35+ Treasure State breweries in a celebration of the harvest, craft beer and those who make brew culture possible in the Gallatin Valley and beyond.
Presented by Crooked Yard Hops, come enjoy a harvest festival featuring delicious fresh hopped styles of beer from an array of Montana breweries. Join to celebrate the completion of the harvest season with delicious beers, live music, and tasty eats from local food vendors. The fresh hop style of beers is a true-brewed seasonal way of making some of our favorite brews. By adding fresh, straight-out-of-the-field hop cones to a brew, a more unique, floral, grassy flavor can be imparted to any style of beer. Enjoy a wide selection of variations on this simple theme and experience the freshness first hand!
Event admission is $25, or treat yourself to an extra hour of tastings with VIP early access for $35. VIPs get in at 3pm. Cost includes commemorative glass and unlimited samples! Advance tickets may be purchased at www.mtfreshfest.com. Proceeds will directly benefit the Gallatin Valley Land Trust, a local nonprofit whose work connects people, communities and open lands through conservation of working farms and ranches, healthy rivers and wildlife habitat.
Crooked Yard Hops provides local breweries with the ability to produce an entirely locally sourced product with fresh, high quality, and Gallatin Valley grown hops. •
