Protecting Montana’s Water with John Tubbs
April 16 @ 6:00pm
Join Upper Missouri Waterkeeper for a presentation by John Tubbs, former Director of the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation and current Chair of the Upper Missouri Waterkeeper Board, at the Bozeman Public Library at 6 PM on the evening of Thursday, April 16th, in Downtown Bozeman.
Tubbs will discuss the history of Montana’s overallocated and increasingly threatened water resources, how we got here, and what needs to be done to protect our water, way of life, and fisheries for the future.
With decades of leadership in state and federal water policy, including service as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Water and Science at the U.S. Department of the Interior, Tubbs brings a deep understanding of the challenges and solutions facing Montana’s waters.
The event is free and open to the public, hosted by Upper Missouri Waterkeeper, committed to your right to fishable, swimmable, drinkable water. Abridged recording to be available at www.UpperMissouriWaterkeeper.org the following week.
