Pinky & the Floyd (Late Showing)
In September 2024, Pinky and the Floyd tragically lost their most iconic member, Joe Kirchner. Known for his searing keytar solos, contagious stage presence, and large pink beehive wig, Joe Kirchner became the face (and driving force) behind Pinky’s popularity for the past 16 years. His loss has not only affected the band, but left a huge hole in the entire music community of Montana. On Friday, March 28, 2025 at the Elm Bozeman, Pinky and the Floyd will honor their lost friend with two stunning tribute concerts in his name. Both the matinee (5-7pm) and the later show (9-11pm) will feature archival photos and video footage from throughout Joe’s life, as well as some very special guests from Pinky’s past. You will also be surprised to hear Joe’s actual keytar audio mixed in with the band’s live sound during select iconic Joe moments. This one-of-a-kind production will only happen in Bozeman, and is not to be missed!
Proceeds go to the Joe Kirchner Memorial Foundation (joekirchner.co): a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the legacy of Joe Kirchner by empowering the Bozeman music community and providing support and resources for musicians, music industry professionals, and their families. There will also be exclusive Pinky/Joe merchandise for sale to support the fundraising efforts.
