MSU 2026 Homecoming Pep Rally

Montana State University and the Downtown Bozeman Association will host the university’s 2026 homecoming pep rally on Friday, Sept. 25. The event is free and open to the public. It will kick off at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Willson Avenue in downtown Bozeman.
Head coach Brent Vigen and the 2026 football captains will help rally the crowd along with the Spirit of the West Marching Band, MSU Spirit Squad and mascot Champ. There will also be music, free refreshments from Harrington Pepsi of Bozeman, snacks from The Cannery Lounge and Spur Saloon, and prizes.
For kids, there will be an inflatable slide and activities put together by local nonprofit organizations, including Bozeman Field School, Bozeman Film Festival, Bozeman Police Department, Bozeman Public Library, Bridger Ski Foundation, Forward Montana and MSU’s Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing. Those activities will begin at 5 p.m.
Event sponsors include MSU Athletics, MSU Communications, MSU Alumni Foundation, MSU Dean of Students, PRIME Incorporated, MSU Spirit of the West Marching Band and Spirit Squad, 106.9 “K-Sky Country”, AC Hotel, Barefoot Campus Outfitters, Bitterroot Bistro, Country Bookshelf, Element Bozeman, Erotique, Evrgreen & Revolvr, Harrington Pepsi of Bozeman, Jam! On Main, Kimpton Armory Hotel, Luxe Society Active, Montana Silversmiths, Moonlight Productions, The Cannery & Spur, and Treeline Coffee Roasters.
The annual MSU homecoming parade will also be held in downtown Bozeman beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26. MSU’s homecoming football game versus Northern Arizona will follow the parade, with kickoff at 8:30 p.m. in Bobcat Stadium.
