Mindfulness and Art Workshop- Ages 4-8 & Guardians
April 21 @ 11:00am
Compassion Project is a Gallatin Valley non-profit 501(c)(3). We specialize in teaching and spreading compassion through mindfulness and art.
We are hosting a FREE event at the Bozeman Public Library on April 12th, from 11:00am-1:00pm. This is geared towards children and their parents from ages 4-8.
We have customized this workshop for this age group for lessons on empathy, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and compassion. We provide tools in these areas that can be utilized at home, in school, and every-day life.
We use art as a mindfulness process rather than a product. Art allows us to tap into feeling, emotions, and experiences that we might otherwise have words for. With art, you can express yourself freely without judgement. Through art, we are able to celebrate that there’s no right or wrong, or the pressure of perfection. It is a space where we can embrace our imperfections and grow. Whether you are a beginner in mindfulness or an expert, all are welcome.
Join Compassion Project for lessons in mindfulness, empathy, emotional regulation, and compassion while using creativity and art.
RSVPs appreciated to make sure we have enough supplies, but is not required.
