Mandeville Creek Plant Maintenance Day
July 2 @ 9:00am
Hosted by the Gallatin Watershed Council
Mandeville Creek is a small urban stream that flows through Bozeman, passing through Montana State University and Bozeman High School (BHS) campuses. As an urban stream, Mandeville Creek faces various water quality challenges. In Fall 2024, volunteers and the Gallatin Watershed Council planted native shrubs and trees on a section of the creek with native riparian plant species to provide erosion control, shade, water quality improvements, and fish and wildlife habitat. We will be mulching, pulling weeds, and adjusting cages so these plants can be successful. See you there!
