Land and Water Stewardship for Locals Speaker Series. This is a four month long series dedicated to landowners and realtors who are looking to expand their knowledge about our natural resources here in MT and how to properly manage them. These talks are FREE and open to the public.
This evenings topic of conversation includes: Ditches & Irrigation in Gallatin County
Join us for an educational talk on our ditch systems and understanding our irrigation infrastructure within Gallatin County and how it is essential for our watershed.
– Whether you just bought property or are looking to sell agricultural land.
– You want to learn more about irrigation infrastructure.
– Looking to get in touch with irrigators or your ditch rider.
This talk will address everything from what a headgate is to meeting your ditch rider and understanding how irrigation feeds our groundwater!
