Land and Water Stewardship for Locals Speaker Series. This is a four month long series dedicated to landowners and realtors who are looking to expand their knowledge about our natural resources here in MT and how to properly manage them. These talks are FREE and open to the public.
This evenings topic of conversation includes: Forest Health and Management
Join Jay Pape with Gallatin County Emergency Management and Elias Davis with the Department of Natural Resources (DNRC) to address:
– Forest health in the county and beyond.
– Forest pests and diseases, signs and symptoms.
– Conifer encroachment and how to keep your grasslands.
– How to properly manage your property to reduce the risk of fire.
– Resources available in the county to help manage your property.
The event is FREE and will be held at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center located at 145 Mill Street, Gallatin Gateway, MT from 5pm-6:30pm.
