Gallatin County Local Govt. Study Listening Session
November 5 @ 6:00pm
Join us for an upcoming listening session being held in Gallatin County. During the month of November, we will hold seven separate listening sessions to give you an opportunity to learn more about the Gallatin County Local Government Study and how you can get involved, share your input, and next steps for the commission.
The Gallatin County Local Government Study Commission is a voter-initiated review of the county’s current government structure and operations. The Commission will be active for two years, will hold regular meetings and will invite public participation throughout the process. Its purpose is to examine the county’s existing powers, form of government, and service delivery procedures, and to compare it with alternative structures allowed under state law.
