Foundations: Agricultural and Historical Architecture in Montana
May 29 @ 6:00pm
The Livingston Center for Art and Culture is proud to host an exhibit celebrating Montana’s agriculture and its historical architecture. Foundations: Agricultural and Historical Architecture of Montana runs from May 19th to June 13th. Montana’s story is written across working landscapes and in historical structures that stand witness to the development of our state. In weathered barns, grain elevators, fence lines, hay fields, and the hands that built them – generations of agricultural tradition continue to shape the character of our state. Discovering and cherishing the essence of Montana’s agricultural heritage is at the heart of Foundations. From the core foundation laid by agriculture in Montana’s economy to its vibrant historical architecture, this show honors the hardworking individuals who shape our state. The public will have the opportunity to meet participating Foundations artists at a Reception on May 29th from 6 to 8 pm. The Center is located at 119 South Main Street in historic downtown Livingston. For more information, contact the Center at (406) 222-5222 or visit http://www.livingstoncenter.org/
