Belgrade Well Water Testing Clinic
June 26 @ 5:30pm
The Gallatin Local Water Quality District is hosting a FREE Well Water Testing Clinic on June 26 from 5:30-7:30 pm at the River Rock Community Center in Belgrade. Free well testing kits will be available for pickup, analysis costs vary depending on what you choose to test for.
Presentations from the Water Quality District, MSU Extension, the Gallatin City-County Health Department, and the Gallatin Conservation District will help inform community members on what to test for, how to test, and other information about well and septic systems.
As a well owner, it is your responsibility to test your well water. There are a number of common well water contaminants above thresholds in Gallatin County, such as arsenic, E. coli, manganese, fluoride and copper. These contaminants may be detrimental to your health.
For questions, call 406-582-3167 or email paige.tolleson@gallatin.mt.gov.
