Join us at The Shane Center at 7:00 pm for an enlightening evening with the renowned author Dan Flores. Dive into the heart of the American West with his FREE lecture “Endangered Species and the American West,” inspired by his latest award-winning book, “Wild New World: The Epic Story of Animals and People in America.”
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear from the winner of the 2023 Rachel Carson Environment Book and Phi Beta Kappa Society Ralph Waldo Emerson Awards. Flores will bring to life the epic tales of our natural world and share insights into the symbiotic relationship between humans and wildlife.
This event is the inaugural lecture of “The Epic Story of Humans, Wildlife and Landforms in Park County” series. It’s a collaboration aimed at fostering stewardship of our ecosystem, brought to you by the Yellowstone Gateway Foundation and Museum along with Elk River Arts & Lectures, The Park County Community Foundation, The Park County Environmental Council, Yellowstone Forever, and The Tom Miner Basin Association.
Connect with nature, history, and community. Let’s explore how we can all contribute to preserving the wild heritage of our country.
