Downtown distillery infuses happy hour w/ masterful musicians
Whether your drink of choice changes with the season or remains constant all year round, Bozeman Spirits has you covered. The downtown distiller is serving up the creative cocktails this spring, but the popular tasting room also hosts live music by local musicians every Tuesday from 5:30–8pm. Here’s a look at the upcoming acts.
Lena “Laney Lou” Schiffer returns Tuesday, May 21st. The Southern California native is the Bird Dogs’ frontwoman, known for her powerful vocals and stringwork. Her solo shows are marked by a blend of traditional and modern folk tunes, alongside some familiar indie rock and a number of originals.
Check out the Americana of Sweet Sage on Tuesday, May 28th. Comprised of Amanda Stewart (vocals, guitar) and Garrett Kuntz (banjo, mandolin, guitar), they’ll perform acoustic, alternative, and country covers – not to mention one or two originals.
Looking to the first month of summer-proper, enjoy the talents of Josh Moore on Tuesday, June 4th. Also a member of the Bird Dogs, the North Carolina native is the lead guitarist – and croons, too! Moore’s solo acoustic show features a healthy blend of originals and covers. Sometimes described as a musically gifted goofball, he’ll bring a mix of good-feelin’ folk and bluegrass to the distillery.
