The 2017 Dog & Grog returns to historic Virginia City for its fourteenth annual event, Friday and Saturday, July 14th and 15th. The Bale of Hay Saloon hosts this Montana Microbrew festival featuring the best craft brews made in Montana.
Friday night begins with the Wee Dog pint night beginning at 5pm. From Dillon, Beaverhead Brewing makes their first visit to the event, bringing with them some of the best brews made in Montana. Chad Ball will provide blends of folk, rock, blues and rockin’ country from 9:30pm–12:30am. This is your chance to sample beers from one of the best breweries in Montana and collect one of their pint glasses!
Saturday will feature ten breweries including: Lewis & Clark Brewing, Bitter Root Brewing, Bayern Brewing, Neptune’s Brewery, Madison River Brewing, Bozeman Brewing Co., Draught Works, Lone Peak Brewery, Quarry Brewing, and Philipsburg Brewing Co. Beer and music flow under the big tent next to the Bale of Hay. Festivities start at high noon and run through 7pm with no cover charge! The Mike and Rich Duo will provide the live music all day, playing tunes you can tap your toes to.
Make sure to arrive early and get the package deal — 8 tasters of beer, polish dog, and limited edition commemorative glass featuring Bayern Brewing. Individual beers and dogs are also for sale.
Then dance the night away with The Gallatin Grass Project starting at 9:30pm. Straight from Big Sky, these guys play the best bluegrass in the West! Get on your feet and dance while enjoying your favorite brew.
