Dear Ellen Theatre Patrons

Stuck in the 70s…

The Ellen is over the moon about a new play opening next month called Just Add Water, a family-centered comedy, which requires a standard 1970s kitchen as part of the set. For those in the know, this means, ideally, some fantastic avocado green appliances. Of course, we’d also be thrilled with harvest gold or other suitable colors.

This is where YOU can assist Ellen!

Is there an old refrigerator or stove in your garage, or tucked away in a storage unit, that is no longer needed? If so, Ellen would greatly appreciate you donating it to a worthy cause. It doesn’t have to work, just look the part! While we’re asking, we are on the hunt for a VCR as well, circa 1980s. Again, no functioning necessary, it is simply a visual aid.

Don’t forget! The Ellen is a non-profit organization, so this is a tax-deductible gift. We’ll do all the work and haul away whatever you have that may be of help.
