Cool off between sunburns with Eagles live entertainment
Summer escapes come in many forms and sometimes getting out of the sun is just what the doctor ordered – and Downtown Bozeman’s Eagles Bar is the perfect spot for the sunstruck to recuperate! The seasoned watering hole also features drink specials, Friday night BINGO and burgers, twice weekly karaoke, plus regular live music by solo musicians and local bands. Here’s a look at who’s playing at FOE in the coming weeks.
The next midweek acoustics come courtesy of Jeff Jensen on Wednesday, July 10th beginning at 8pm. Originally from the small northwest Montana town of St. Regis, now based in Bozeman, he plays a unique and eclectic variety of folk covers and originals. From hobo ballads to train songs, sweet pickin’ and hard strummin’, hard luck and smooth singin’, there’s something for everyone to discover and enjoy within his music.
After a rockin’ Friday night show by Dilly Dilly on July 12th, Noel Lacey steps in for the Wednesday evening set on July 17th at 8pm.
Looking ahead, Igor & the Red Elvises are back in Southwest Montana with an Eagles Ballroom show on Tuesday, July 23rd at 8pm. With humorous lyrics and grooves that practically force you to dance, The Elvises’ “Siberian Surf Rock” is sure to entertain. Front man Igor Yuzov offers a unique brand of humor combined with guitar-based rock n’ roll that makes audiences want to sing, dance, scream and shout. Advance tickets are $14.50 and available at Cactus Records.
Always a blast, Sunrise Karaoke sets up every Thursday and Saturday night at 9pm this summer. Come sing your heart out and maybe even do a dance number between songs.
Bridger Mountain Big Band performs regularly on Sundays from 7–9:30pm. The 17-piece jazz orchestra celebrates the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and more, with original arrangements and music of all genres from the 1900s to today. Check them out on Facebook for performance announcements.
Head downtown to play a game of pool, listen to some great local bands, or stop in for a cold one any day of the week! The Eagles is located at 316 E Main, next to the Nova Café. •
